Insomnia is a very common problem that people face. About 10-30% of the population face insomnia, and that’s about 7.6 billion people in the world! It is usually more common in older adults, females, and people with medical and mental ill-health.

Sleep plays a very important role in our lives. Have you ever felt so tired that you just fall right asleep without even being on a bed? Or have you ever just laid in bed at 3am twisting and turning but just can’t fall asleep? Especially nowadays with our smartphones and gadgets, it is so much easier to just pick up the rectangular bright screen and aimlessly scroll through all the different social media until we’re tired enough to fall asleep.
